dinner at the Del Mar beach club

Yes my friends and family - yes you are going to hate me for the dinner Chris and i had tonight. It was amazing. They brought out the best in Spanish, French and even some Moroccan dishes.

We started off on the beach the Del Mar club here at Puente Romano Resort. Around 8 p.m. our time we were encouraged to go into dinner and what we found was nothing short of spectacular. Salmon, chicken, pate that would rival that from the finest pat houses in France. there are a multitude of  green leaf salads and vegetable salads to please even the pickiest of vegetarians.

And the dessert table was indeed a plethora of elegant and tasty desserts. Some we never got to know the names of but would surely know them if we saw them again.The biggest hit was a lemon parfait type dish with blueberries. And there there was some kind of chocolate decadence in a tall shot glass that too good not to taste. I could not have asked for more but there was excellent white, red and cava to accompany the meal.
